Lower Hutt Women's Book Club

Who is the group for?
Women living in the Hutt Valley and Wellington region that love books and to read, and who would like to meet new people

What do we do?
We try to have a different genre every month that we read before the meeting in which we discuss it. The library provides us with a list of discussion questions. There’s also a lot of general chat about the world, our lives and books in general!
Libraries are a “dangerous” place for bookworms, many of our members are known to disappear into the aisles before our meetings and return with a stack of books to borrow. We also love to recommend new authors for each other if you’re stuck for something to read.
In future we are considering doing such things as Mystery Book swap. Twice a year we go out for a meal, March and September, instead of meeting at the library.
