Kerala Fest – Aarpo 2026

Kerala Fest – Aarpo 2026 is a free, family‑friendly multicultural community festival celebrating Kerala culture in the heart of Lower Hutt.

The event brings together people of all ages for a full day of cultural performances, interactive competitions, children’s activities, and community stalls.

The programme includes an inauguration ceremony, music and dance performances and outdoor children’s games and fun activities. You can also enjoy food stalls offering a variety of flavours and craft stalls showcasing handmade and community products. 

A key highlight of the event is the quiz and chess competitions, designed to encourage participation across age groups and promote learning, thinking, and friendly competition.

There will also be an open stage session where community members can showcase their talents, followed by prize distribution and a closing ceremony.
