Celebrate Matariki on the court at the Capital Basketball Matariki Festival.
This inclusive basketball festival welcomes people of all ages, mobility levels and cultures to come together through a shared love of basketball. Matariki is a time to remember, reflect and look ahead, and this event provides a fun and accessible way to connect with others and celebrate the season.
With support from Hutt City Council, Nuku Ora, Parafed Manawatū and Halberg, the festival aims to break down barriers and make basketball accessible to more people in our community.
Whether you're an experienced player or simply keen to be part of the celebrations, gather a team and join us for a fun, safe and welcoming event.
