The Beauty of Imperfection: A Beginner's Kintsugi Workshop
Saturday 14 November 2026 at 1:30 PM
Jackson Street
Event Description
Discover the Japanese art of Kintsugi and its philosophy of embracing imperfection, change and the beauty of things that tell a story.
Join us at Tea Atelier, Petone, for a beginner-friendly, hands-on Kintsugi workshop in collaboration with Tea Atelier, complemented by a tea experience.
Enjoy a creative opportunity to slow down, explore Japanese-inspired traditions and appreciate the beauty of imperfection.
This workshop is ideal for adults aged 18 and over who are interested in creativity, Japanese culture, mindfulness, or trying something new. No previous Kintsugi experience is necessary.
All Kintsugi workshop materials will be provided. Participants do not need to bring anything other than their curiosity and willingness to explore.
Come along for a meaningful creative experience combining Kintsugi and tea in a welcoming setting.
