Belmont Playcentre "The Holiday" movie night
Sunday 13 December 2026 at 4:15 PM
Light House Petone
Event Description
On 13 December we're hosting The Holiday at Lighthouse Petone to raise money for new play equipment.
We're hoping to put in a pirate ship designed with accessibility in mind, so that more kids, including children with mobility needs, can play together. It'll cost about $3,700, and money raised from the movie tickets and a raffle will go towards it.
There will be spot prizes, raffle tickets and lolly bags to buy on the way in.
Anyone is welcome, The Holiday is such a christmas classic, we're hoping there will be broad appeal.
In case you haven't come across us, Playcentre is a parent-led early childhood service where parents and caregivers stay and play alongside their tamariki. Belmont Playcentre has been part of the community since the 1970s - we even have kids attending whose parents came here as children themselves.
