Event Description
Hear from some of New Zealand’s best contemporary poets as they translate master jeweller Warwick Freeman’s works into words.
Exhibition Hook Hand Heart Star showcases a survey of over 40 years of work by Warwick Freeman, include curated groupings of jewellery that he called 'sentences'. The Dowse has invited poets to interpret these sentences, turning the shapes and symbols of objects into poems.
Featuring Therese Lloyd, Essa Ranapiri, Matthew Whiteman and Tony DiCarlo.
