Event Description
2026 marks the 35th running of Wellington’s oldest multisport event.
Based around the Hutt Valley's icon outdoor elements, this 54k scenic tour showcases the hills, beaches, harbour and river that make our region the outdoor wonderland that it is.
Attracting around 400 entrants every year, participants enter solo or make up a team in either the full multisport format (13k Kayak, 34k Mountain Bike, 13k Trail Run) or as duathletes (mountain bike/run).
Past winners have included no less than 12 world champions, but first and foremost "The Crazyman" is a community event embracing all ages, abilities and backgrounds.
In short, you'd be "crazy not to" contemplate the Crazyman... It's a "Hell of an event"!
